Korg D1600
The Korg D1600 features a 24 channel, 8 bus digital
mixer with sixteen 60 mm faders, which let me make smooth, precise level adjustments. Having all 16 faders live at one time
is a must when it comes time to mix down your song. The Pairing function allows adjacent channels to be used as a stereo pair,
for up to 8 mono plus 4 stereo tracks. A variety of audio sources can be connected directly, ranging from mic level to a +16
dBu level. To match the quality of the full-digital processing, all analog inputs use high-performance balanced preamps. The
D1600 provides four XLR jacks with high-quality mic preamps and +48V phantom power, so condenser mics can be connected directly
to the D1600. All phone type inputs are balanced TRS jacks and a dedicated guitar input jack is also provided.
Guitars
Fender
Jeff's primary workhorse axe is a 1974 Fender Telecaster
('52 Reissue).....The Fender ‘52 Reissue Telecaster pays homage to Fender's original classic that revolutionized the
electric guitar. Its efficiency of form and function has made the Telecaster one of the most played and heard instruments
in musical history.
Gibson
While not played quite as frequently as the Tele, the 1972 Les Paul Deluxe is still one of the finest
guitars Jeff has ever owned. Originally released in 1969 to replace the P-90 Les Paul, the Deluxe featured the now famous
"mini-humbucker"" pickup. A true collectors item!!
Taylor
Finally, the Taylor 610CE LTD. This beauty of a guitar is a 2002 model and rarely seen with
the Mother of Pearl binding and all the other extras! Jeff uses this mainly for composing, but it does occasionally
sneak onto a CD cut!!
